CHEF ALEX TISHMAN
With nearly fifteen years of industry experience built around cutting edge culinary trends and business success, Chef Alex Tishman extends his Michelin-star restaurant experience to our clients’ food and beverage projects. A graduate of the California Culinary Academy, he began his professional career at Moose’s, where he worked his way through all of the restaurant’s line stations. During the next several years, he continued to develop his craft in various positions at Michelin-starred restaurants One Market and Acquerello. In June 2008, Chef Alex began working at the iconic local favorite Chow as a sous chef at several of its neighborhood locations, where he prepared seasonal Northern Californian cuisine and eventually oversaw the daily operations of the restaurants.
He is currently the Regional Head Chef for Big City Chefs
in the San Francisco Bay Area.
TOM STIEBER, CEO
Tom Stieber co-founded nationwide boutique private chef brand Big City Chefs in 2000 after managing securities compliance and corporate legal matters as Vice President, Securities Law for an internet startup during the dot-com era. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California, as well a member of the California State Bar.
A Chancellor’s Scholar and graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, a graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law, and a graduate of the Graduate School of Business at San Diego State University, where he earned the prestigious honors of Beta Gamma Sigma and a Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation scholarship, Mr. Stieber’s diverse professional and educational background comprises legal, management, marketing, creative,
and commercial real estate expertise.
